Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students and educators as a contract School Psychologist for the new school year. In this full-time role, you'll play a key part in fostering a positive educational experience and promoting student well-being. Your expertise will help remove barriers to learning, ensuring every child has a chance to thrive.
What You'll Bring:
Current Georgia State Certification as a School Psychologist Master's degree in Psychology (Ph.D. preferred) Bachelor's degree in Education Previous teaching experience is an asset Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop supportive relationships with students, parents, and school staff Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed Facilitate positive behavioral interventions and inclusive practices Participate in school meetings and consultations, offering insights to support student growth Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Support a safe, positive learning environment for every student
