Utilize your expertise to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral success while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments in a school setting Strong understanding of special education regulations and individualized education plans (IEPs) Ability to provide effective counseling and behavioral interventions Proficiency in crisis intervention and student support strategies Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and educators Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs and recommend services or supports Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and academic intervention plans Provide direct counseling services—both individual and group—to address academic, social, or emotional concerns Lead or participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student accommodations Serve as a resource for faculty on strategies that foster a positive and inclusive school environment Perks of this
