Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a licensed school psychologist and make a difference in the lives of K-12 students throughout the academic year. This role is based in a vibrant educational community in southern Georgia and begins in August 2026, providing essential support to school teams and students through May 2027. Operating within a collaborative itinerant framework, you will serve various sites—delivering impactful re-evaluations, supporting student achievement, and promoting positive learning environments across multiple grade levels.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid and current PSYCH credentials as a school psychologist Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and behavioral intervention skills Ability to effectively manage itinerant schedules and travel between school sites Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive re-evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels Provide evidence-based recommendations that contribute to educational planning Consult with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of evaluations and service delivery Foster inclusive learning environments and promote student well-being Adapt to changing caseloads while meeting required timelines This is a full-time, onsite-only assignment, offering 40 hours per week during the 2026-2027 school year.
