Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist through this contract opportunity located near Lawrenceville, GA. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about educational psychology, student advocacy, and fostering positive learning environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a valid School Psychologist credential or relevant state certification Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Experiencing working as a School Psychologist in educational settings Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessments, intervention planning, and special education processes Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective student support strategies Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary student teams Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed for students Support school staff in implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) Document assessments, recommendations, and services in adherence with district and legal guidelines Enjoy the rewards of making a difference as you support both students and educational staff, shaping positive school experiences.
