Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support student success in the Newnan, Georgia area and its surrounding communities. This contract position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, with both part-time and full-time options to fit your lifestyle and professional goals. As a key member of the school-based support team, you will provide vital services that help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. This role focuses on comprehensive assessments, accurate testing, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) evaluations. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to ensure that each student's unique learning needs are met, making a genuine difference every day.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification and credentials for School Psychology Experience with school-based assessments and testing procedures Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and special education processes Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and supportive care
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and eligibility testing Collaborate with intervention teams and participate in IEP/504 development Deliver MTSS interventions and support data-driven decision making Work with students individually and in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and families Enjoy a flexible schedule with the option to choose part-time or full-time hours, making it easy to balance your professional and personal life throughout the school year.
