Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a skilled school psychologist to support student mental health and learning needs in Savannah, GA. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to school-aged children, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to a positive educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results to guide educational planning. Developing individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students. Consulting with teachers and parents to address behavioral and emotional challenges. Participating in school meetings to support student success and comply with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and experience:
Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in K-12 settings. Strong knowledge of assessments, IEP development, and behavioral interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and families. Flexibility and readiness for travel assignments within the region.
