Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower student success in the Newnan and surrounding areas as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity invites both full-time and part-time professionals to contribute their expertise in a dynamic educational setting. Your skills will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, and emotional growth through specialized assessments and interventions. Your experience with testing, evaluations, and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process will directly impact student achievement and well-being. Collaboration with educators, families, and support staff ensures that every student has the resources they need to reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology Active School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility for state licensure/certification) Previous experience conducting assessments and evaluations in a school environment Familiarity with MTSS procedures and school-based interventions Strong communication and report-writing abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and report findings to teams and families Participate in the MTSS process by offering strategic interventions and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators during IEP and
RTI/MTSS
meetings Consult with teachers and parents regarding student needs, behavioral plans, and intervention strategies Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with all state and federal regulations This position offers the flexibility to choose a part-time or full-time schedule to best fit your lifestyle.
