In this role, you will collaborate with educators, families, and school personnel to provide comprehensive psychological services to students. From assessment and intervention to advocacy and consultation, your expertise will be vital in nurturing students' emotional, social, and academic growth.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology. Active Georgia state licensure as a School Psychologist. Teaching Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA PSC). Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to diverse needs and manage multiple assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments for eligibility and planning (academic, behavioral, social-emotional). Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis management support. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster a positive school climate. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer consultative support. Maintain ethical, timely documentation and adhere to district/state guidelines.
