Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' academic and emotional growth as a School Psychologist. This role places you at the heart of educational development, working closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive outcomes for learners. Using your expertise, you will provide a range of psychological services within the school setting, helping ensure that all students have the resources they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Valid and current School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain state certification Prior experience working within K-12 educational environments is highly valued Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with students, educators, and families Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environmentsPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions Provide crisis intervention and counseling to support emotional and behavioral well-being Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom management and interventions Communicate assessment results and recommendations to families and school personnel Maintain timely, accurate documentation for all services and interventions Experience the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in students' lives while collaborating in a supportive educational environment.
