Join Our Team:
Heartland AEA School-Based Mental Health Provider! Are you a licensed Social Worker passionate about supporting students? Heartland Area Education Agency is looking for a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team supporting the South Hamilton Community School District for the upcoming school year. This is a unique .2 contract (38 days for the 26-27 SY), perfect for someone seeking a consistent "one day a week" schedule while making a massive impact on student wellness. The Role at a Glance
Direct Impact:
Provide Tier 2 mental health support for K-12 students across two buildings (approx. 625 students).
Clinical Focus:
Deliver skill-based support using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) interventions.
Collaboration:
You'll work alongside our Heartland AEA school and student professional services provider 60-90 minutes of built-in collaboration time each week. You will also be on a multidisciplinary team with the South Hamilton district counseling staff
Qualifications and Expectations:
Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Licensure:
Must be eligible/licensed to practice in the State of Iowa.
Consistent Income:
Get paid on a reliable schedule (1st and 15th of every month).

A predictable 38-day contract spread throughout the school year.
Professional Growth:
Gain experience in a school setting with a collaboration model and the opportunity for free supervision towards LISW if needed
