Travel School Psychologist - Cedar Rapids, IA Cedar Rapids, IA Job Details 3 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding position is available for a School Psychologist specializing in supporting student mental health and academic success. This travel role is based in Cedar Rapids, IA, offering opportunities to work in diverse school environments and make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and support services to students facing challenges impacting their academic performance and well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate services. Use data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations in educational settings.
