Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist travel assignment is available in the Des Moines, IA area, offering the opportunity to support students' emotional, social, and academic development across various school settings. This role requires adaptability and a commitment to delivering comprehensive psychological services on a travel basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Maintain detailed records and prepare reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards Support schools in meeting special education eligibility and planning processesQualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Flexibility to travel and work in multiple school locations within Des Moines, IA, and surrounding areas Knowledge of IDEA, RTI, and other relevant educational laws and frameworks This travel assignment combines professional growth with the chance to make a meaningful impact on diverse student populations in an educational environment.
