Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide expert support and assessment services within school settings. This travel position, based in Sioux City, IA, offers the opportunity to work across multiple educational institutions, delivering specialized psychological services that foster student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff Provide counseling and intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive and effective learning environments Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulationsDesired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing IEPs Strong knowledge of educational law, special education processes, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel between school sites within the regionLocation:
