Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting K-8th grade students as a School Psychologist, working onsite or in a hybrid capacity near Nampa, ID. In this engaging role, you'll provide crucial psychological services designed to foster both academic and emotional development for young learners. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, making a real difference while enjoying a flexible weekly commitment of 6-8 hours from August through the end of the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active School Psychologist certification in the state of Idaho Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Prior experience serving K-8th grade students preferred Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Comfortable adapting to onsite and hybrid service models
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success Contribute to the development and execution of IEPs and 504 plans Provide crisis intervention and counseling, as needed Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain detailed records Communicate findings and progress effectively with stakeholders
