Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary and middle school students by providing comprehensive psychological services in an engaging, in-person environment. This contract opportunity involves working with PreK-8th grade students, offering critical support throughout the academic year. The role is entirely onsite, allowing you to build strong, supportive relationships with both students and staff in a collaborative setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist license/certification is mandatory Experience with a diverse student population (PreK to 8th grade) preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Excellent communication and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Dedicated to maintaining student confidentiality and professional ethical standards
Responsibilities Include:
Conducts psychological evaluations to assess academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develops and implements intervention strategies in coordination with school staff and families Participates in Response to Intervention (RTI), Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other relevant support teams Delivers individual and group counseling as required to address student needs Collaborates with teachers and administrators to foster positive learning environments Provides crisis intervention and supports as needed Maintains thorough and accurate records in compliance with all regulations About the
