Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and educators as a School Psychologist providing vital services in a dynamic educational setting near Barrington, IL. This role is perfect for professionals with a passion for enhancing student development and well-being, who excel at collaboration and problem-solving.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as a School Psychologist Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related discipline Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting evaluation data Strong counseling, consultation, and report-writing skills Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan processes is a plus Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Administer individual and group assessments to identify student needs and inform interventions Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and behavioral plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote positive outcomes for students Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed Assist with data-driven decision-making to support academic and emotional growth Accurately maintain documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements This contract position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on a diverse group of students.
