Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real impact supporting students as a school psychologist on a contract basis near Berwyn, IL. This is an opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational environment, conducting assessments, providing guidance, and consulting with teachers and families to foster students' academic and socio-emotional growth. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid and current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (Illinois credentials required) Experience administering educational and psychological assessments within school settings Strong ability to design, implement, and monitor appropriate interventions and supports Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Demonstrated capacity for cultural competence and a student-centered approach
Role Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning needs and strengths Interpret test results and provide recommendations to support student success Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans Offer direct counseling and social-emotional support to students as needed Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, problem-solving initiatives, and response-to-intervention processes Provide crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management strategies
