Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing your expertise as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract role offers a fulfilling opportunity to support student well-being, collaborate with dedicated staff, and utilize your assessment and intervention skills to help students reach their full potential.
What You'll Bring:
Valid state licensure/certification as a school psychologist Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpretation Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and legal compliance Comfort working with diverse student populations and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and case management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Interpret evaluation data and provide recommendations for educational planning and interventions Participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Counsel students individually or in small groups to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns Consult with teachers and staff on effective instructional and behavioral support techniques Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and support during critical incidents Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
