Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role supporting middle school students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is perfect for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking to make a significant impact within a supportive educational environment. Candidates will work closely with faculty, families, and students, providing essential psychological services and fostering a positive school atmosphere. Qualifications:
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience working with middle school-aged children Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to team-based planning for student success Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learner needs Support staff and parents through consultation, training, and recommendations Maintain detailed and confidential records and reports as required by district and state guidelines Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment by promoting social-emotional wellness
