Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a dedicated School Psychologist. This full-time position, located near Buffalo Grove, IL, provides the chance to work within a dynamic educational environment, collaborating closely with students, educators, and families to foster positive outcomes. In this essential role, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Develop and implement individualized plans for students' academic, social, and emotional growth Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote best practices in educational strategies and interventions Offer crisis intervention and proactive support within the school community Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist (IL PSYCH) license is required Previous experience in a school setting, especially with middle school-aged children, is highly valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while thriving as part of an interdisciplinary team Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
