Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Support student achievement and well-being as a School Psychologist on a contract basis near Chicago, IL. Use your expertise to help shape thriving learning environments while working school-based hours, ideal for work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Prior experience in educational settings preferred Strong understanding of special education processes and laws Skilled in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations Excellent collaboration and communication abilities Familiarity with data analysis and educational interventions, particularly MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive special education evaluations to support appropriate student placements and services Participate actively in MTSS teams, collaborating with staff on interventions and strategies to bolster student success Analyze data regarding students' academic progress and social-emotional needs, providing actionable insights for instructional adjustments Prepare assessment reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic and behavioral goals Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology This role offers consistent weekday hours, working 7:30am to 2:30pm, totaling 35 hours per week.
