Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Inspire student growth and support academic achievement as a dedicated school psychologist working across multiple sites in Illinois, including East Aurora, Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire. This contract opportunity begins August 3rd, 2026, and continues through May 28th, 2027. With a robust 37.5-hour workweek, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Ideal candidates bring both expertise and a compassionate approach to assess student needs, collaborate with educational teams, and develop effective interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Psychology for K-12 Master's degree in School Psychology Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
Preferred:
Bilingual abilities in
Spanish/English Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with classroom teachers, parents, and other staff to facilitate effective support strategies Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Serve as an advocate for student mental health within the school community Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines This role offers a competitive hourly pay ranging from $47.50 to $58.75, recognizing your education, licensure, and contributions to student wellbeing.
