Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Empower students and provide essential support as a School Psychologist dedicated to serving 3rd-5th grade learners in an engaging, onsite role. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to enhance academic and emotional growth for elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist License Professional Educator License (PEL) Experience working with elementary-aged students (3rd-5th grades) is strongly preferred Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret data, and implement evidence-based interventions Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and evaluations for students in 3rd-5th grade, identifying learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Develop and participate in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive school environment Deliver direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation, as needed Engage in data collection and progress monitoring to tailor interventions and measure outcomesBenefits and Perks:
