School Psych - Glendale Heights, Illinois ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Glendale Heights, IL Job Details Full-time | Contract $39.92 - $69.92 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in an engaging, collaborative environment. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering the chance to work onsite across two elementary schools, serving students in PreK through 5th grade. You'll be part of a dynamic team, sharing responsibilities with another psychologist to ensure high-quality support for young learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement Experience working with elementary-age children, especially within school settings Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers Exceptional organizational and communication abilities Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environmentsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on eligibility and IEP meetings Consult with teachers and parents regarding student needs and appropriate interventions Develop and support implementation of individualized behavior and learning plans Provide direct counseling and support to students, addressing social-emotional and academic concerns Participate in Response to Intervention (RtI) and data-based decision making Maintain thorough records congruent with district and professional guidelinesBenefits & Perks:
