Friday Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking School Psychologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gurnee, IL.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students with academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges Diagnose learning and behavioral needs and develop intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in RTI process and student support planning Support development and implementation of IEPs Provide consultation to school staff on behavior and learning strategies Assist in designing remediation and intervention programs Maintain accurate documentation per district/state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences Promote student mental health and well-being
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License required School Psychology endorsement required Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required School-based experience preferred Strong knowledge of RTI and special education processes Ability to work with EC-Grade 8 students Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities Ability to work within large district setting Professional references required upon request For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
