Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Expand your career as a School Psychologist through a rewarding contract opportunity in Illinois, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position covers multiple communities, including East Aurora, Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire, offering diverse experiences and the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives. The assignment begins August 3rd, 2026, and runs through May 28th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Compensation for this role ranges from $47.50 to $58.75 per hour, reflecting your valuable expertise.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology for K-12 Master's degree in School Psychology is required Experience supporting students in diverse K-12 settings Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly preferred, though not mandatory Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation results for students across grade levels Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs Provide direct and consultative mental health support tailored to each student's needs Participate actively in problem-solving teams and Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations Foster an inclusive environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students This contract offers you the opportunity to work with diverse school communities while expanding your professional skill set.
