Weekly Pay:
$2100-$2300 (DOE)About the Role We're partnering with a district in Kankakee, Illinois to bring on a full‑time School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year . This role is ideal for a practitioner who thrives in structured evaluation environments, collaborates well with multidisciplinary teams, and maintains high standards for compliance, documentation, and student support. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations across assigned grade levels Interpret assessment data and produce clear, compliant evaluation reports Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions SupportMTSS/RTI
processes as needed Maintain accurate documentation aligned with Illinois state and district requirements Manage timelines to ensure evaluations and reports are completed promptly Provide professional expertise that supports student success and data‑driven decision‑making Qualifications (Illinois‑Specific Requirements) To work as a School Psychologist on an agency contract in Illinois, candidates must hold: Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or higher) Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement ISBE‑approved internship completion (or equivalent experience) Strong understanding of Illinois evaluation procedures, timelines, and compliance Experience with psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and eligibility processes Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, structured environment Preferred but not required: Experience supportingMTSS/RTI
frameworks Familiarity with diverse assessment tools and culturally responsive practicesRole Details Schedule:
