School Psych | Maple Park, Illinois Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Maple Park, IL Job Details Full-time | Contract $27 - $90 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role as a school psychologist, supporting high school students throughout the academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. Engage directly with a caseload of approximately 30 students, collaborating with educators and families to foster academic, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois School Psychologist license (required) Experience working with high school students preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Comfort working onsite in a school setting Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practices, and student advocacy Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting evaluations for special education eligibility and crisis intervention Developing and implementing evidence-based strategies and supports for students Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Providing individual and group counseling as needed Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success Maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation of services provided This contract position offers competitive pay for your expertise and dedication.
