Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a dedicated Bilingual School Psychologist to support K-12 students and make a meaningful impact in an engaging educational environment. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity where you'll play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of diverse learners, working closely with students, educators, and families to foster positive outcomes. Your expertise in school psychology will be essential as you assess and counsel students, provide culturally relevant interventions, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. Your bilingual Spanish skills will be vital in bridging communication and creating an inclusive atmosphere for all families.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Valid Illinois Psychologist License Fluent in both English and Spanish Prior experience working with K-12 populations preferred Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning Excellent collaborative and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Deliver culturally responsive counseling and intervention services for students Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Serve as a liaison between home and school, ensuring families' voices and needs are met Promote mental health awareness and positive behavior support throughout the school community Support crisis intervention and contribute to a safe and welcoming school climate
