Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students and support their success as a school psychologist in the Naperville, IL area. This contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 academic year is ideal for a compassionate professional seeking to collaborate with educators and families to promote student growth and well-being.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field required Valid School Psychologist certification (Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement) Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions in a school setting Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to support students of diverse backgrounds and needs Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS/RTI processes, and behavioral consultation
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to inform eligibility and programming decisions Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and preventive services to students Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to implement evidence-based interventions Analyze data to monitor student progress and guide intervention planning Support positive school climate and mental health initiatives This role offers a rewarding chance to make a difference within a vibrant educational community.
