Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a school-based opportunity supporting students in early childhood through 5th grade and help shape their educational experience. This contract position is scheduled to begin August 17 and continue through June 5, providing you with a rewarding academic year working full-time (32.5 hours per week) across three school buildings. As a valued member of the school community, you'll play a key role in promoting student success by providing psychological services and collaborating with educators and families.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience with students in early childhood to elementary grades Skilled in conducting a range of psychoeducational assessments Proficient in facilitating and scheduling meetings with multi-disciplinary teams Strong organizational and communication skills Multilingual abilities in Spanish, Polish, or Arabic are preferred but not required Experience working with students with diverse disabilities
Responsibilities:
Schedule and facilitate IEP and other student-focused meetings Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students grades Pre-K through 5 Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop intervention strategies Support students with varied needs across all disability categories Serve on the school's building-based team to implement support programs and services This fulfilling contract position offers a set weekly schedule of 6.5 hours per day, five days each week, immersed in three engaging educational environments.
