Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time, on-site School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Oak Lawn, IL, supporting multiple elementary school locations. This role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, starting on August 17. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing behavioral services across two elementary schools. You will work closely with students in specialized classrooms: three Autistic Support Classrooms at South Elementary and two Emotional Support Classrooms at Evergreen Elementary. Key duties involve conducting and evaluating functional assessments and behavioral evaluations, developing and monitoring behavior plans, and collaborating on individualized education programs (IEPs). Effective communication with staff and continuous assessment of intervention effectiveness are essential components of this role. Qualified candidates will have experience working as a School Psychologist within educational settings, especially those supporting behavioral needs in special education environments. Strong skills in functional behavioral assessments, behavior plan development, and IEP collaboration are necessary. Comfort working across multiple school settings and managing diverse caseloads is expected.
