Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Transform the lives of students in grades 3-5 by sharing your expertise as a school psychologist for the 2026/2027 academic year! This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to work onsite at an intermediate school, directly impacting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners. Enjoy a consistent daily schedule from 8:20 AM to 3:35 PM, supporting both students and staff while collaborating with a dedicated team of education professionals. In this role, you will serve as a key advocate for children, providing a range of psychological services and taking on Local Education Agency (LEA) responsibilities. Help shape the learning environment, consult with teachers, and ensure students have the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with elementary or intermediate grade levels, especially grades 3-5 Familiarity with LEA responsibilities and the special education evaluation process Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Exceptional communication and organizational abilities Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contractResponsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 3-5 Interpret test results and recommend interventions as part of multi-disciplinary teams Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive learning outcomes Fulfill LEA duties, ensuring compliance with special education regulations and documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans Imagine the difference you can make as an onsite school psychologist.
