Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact helping students achieve their fullest potential by providing crucial psychological services in a supportive educational setting. This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time (20-24 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week), with standard school hours from 8 am to 4 pm. Your role will focus on conducting comprehensive special education evaluations, facilitating IEP meetings, and offering collaborative support to the MTSS team. With a caseload ranging from 20 to 40 evaluations per year, you'll make a meaningful difference for students and their families, ensuring all learners receive the individualized attention they deserve.
What You'll Need:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience or strong understanding of school-based psychological practices In-depth knowledge of the IEP process and special education eligibility criteria Familiarity with MTSS and tiered intervention supports Ability to manage multiple evaluations and meet deadlines efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and teams Commitment to promoting an inclusive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
