Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience as a BCBA and/or School Psychologist within educational settings Strong ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and design effective intervention plans Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and observational skills Outstanding communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff Ability to adapt to various student needs and build trust with pupils from diverse backgrounds Illinois licensure or eligibility to attain licensure for relevant practice
Key Responsibilities:
Assess student needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop targeted, evidence-based intervention strategies Work closely with instructional staff to create and monitor progress on behavior intervention plans Deliver direct services and support to students as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to foster student success and advocacy Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to team decision-making Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and interventions Offer crisis intervention and consultative support when necessary This contract role is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and the broader school community, while enjoying flexibility and professional growth.
