Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in behavioral and psychological support within an educational setting. This role is based in Plainfield, IL, and involves providing essential services that promote student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluate student needs for appropriate interventions. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families. Utilize evidence-based practices to support students with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education programs (IEPs). Provide consultation and training to staff regarding behavioral strategies and psychological practices. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Qualifications:
Licensed School Psychologist certification. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential preferred. Experience working in school settings, supporting diverse student populations. Strong assessment and data analysis skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes through behavioral and psychological support.
