Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time, contract School Psychologist within a supportive and collaborative educational environment. Beginning August 18, 2026, you'll split your time between a middle school and an elementary center dedicated to kindergarten students, providing vital support during the academic year. This opportunity offers a rewarding way to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs in two dynamic building environments.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Illinois) Demonstrated experience in K-8 settings strongly preferred Knowledge of current best practices in assessment, MTSS/RTI, and intervention Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families Proficiency with evaluations, report writing, and leading meetings such as IEPs and eligibility reviews Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families to support learning and mental health needs Serve as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team for IEP, 504, and other supportive processes Counsel students individually and in small groups as needed Participate in problem-solving and intervention planning with staff for academic or behavioral concerns Support crisis intervention and contribute to positive school climate initiatives in both assigned buildings This position offers you the opportunity to impact students across age groups while working alongside passionate educators.
