Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower student success in an engaging educational environment as a skilled school psychologist on a contract basis. This opportunity, located near Round Lake, IL, offers both part-time (20-24 hours/week) and full-time (37.5 hours/week) options to fit your preferred schedule. School hours are 8 am to 4 pm, fostering a predictable daily rhythm while you make a direct impact. Bring your expertise in student support and experience with special education evaluations to a collaborative, mission-driven setting. As a valued member of the educational community, you'll be instrumental in providing critical services that help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. What we're looking for: Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement Experience conducting 20-40 evaluations annually Background in facilitating IEP meetings and working with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with supporting and participating in MTSS or Response to Intervention processes Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and faculty Detail-oriented approach to documentation and assessment Key responsibilities: Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for a diverse student population Lead and facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring alignment and collaboration between all stakeholders Partner with the MTSS team to develop and support targeted interventions Provide consultation and guidance to educators and families regarding student needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate findings effectively This opportunity allows you to shape student experiences while accommodating your lifestyle with options for part-time or full-time hours.
