School Psych | Saint Charles, Illinois Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Saint Charles, IL Job Details Full-time | Contract $27 - $90 an hour Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting as a School Psychologist working on-site for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated staff and support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. Your role will center on assessing student needs, providing direct counseling, consulting with teachers and families, and contributing to intervention plans. You'll be relied upon to bring your expertise and compassion to a diverse student caseload, ensuring every child receives the resources and guidance they deserve.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist License (IL PSYCH) Professional Educator License (PEL) Experience providing psychological services in a school environment is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work onsite and adapt to a collaborative team setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write clear, actionable reports Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and develop appropriate intervention strategies Support students through individual and group counseling Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive outcomes Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate You can look forward to a package including competitive weekly pay, plus eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
