Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Shorewood, IL seeks a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position involves working 35 hours per week with a cross-categorical caseload, supporting students in grades K-8. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators, parents, and students to assess and address diverse educational and psychological needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for K-8 students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success. Provide counseling and intervention services as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state regulations.Qualifications:
Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued by ISBE. Experience working with a cross-categorical caseload preferred. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.Location:
