School Psychologist Location:
Steger, IL School Year:
2026-2027 We are seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based assignment in Steger, IL, beginning August 13, 2026. This is a 41-week contract working 37.5 hours per week, serving a K-8 student population across three school sites as a district-float position. The School Psychologist supports students with academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs and collaborates closely with school teams to promote student success and overall well-being.

Required Responsibilities Conduct psychological and educational assessments Identify academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Provide individual and group counseling services Implement evidence-based interventions Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and support staff Respond to and manage school-based crisis situations Participate in IEP development and implementation Support school-wide mental health and academic programs Engage in ongoing professional development Requirements Active School Psychologist licensure or certification in the state of practice Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred Master's degree in Psychology or related field preferred Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements Compensation $75 per hour This is an excellent opportunity for a School Psychologist seeking strong compensation, a full school-year assignment, and experience working across multiple school sites within a collaborative environment.
