Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A public school district in Sycamore, IL, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full contract position starting in August and continuing through the entire school year. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting while contributing to the well-being and success of students.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational assessments to support student learning and development Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing appropriate educational strategies Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Advocate for students' mental health and educational rights
Desired Qualifications:
Valid credential/license as a School Psychologist Experience assessing and supporting students within a school environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Ability to tailor caseload assignments based on individual strengths and preferences Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere
