Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year for a School Psychologist based in Tinley Park, IL. This role supports multiple elementary schools and involves collaboration with behavior specialists across various support classrooms, including autistic and emotional support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate functional behavioral assessments and behavioral evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to evaluate and adjust individual education plans (IEPs) Schedule and communicate with team members to ensure effective service delivery Provide ongoing data analysis to measure the success of behavior strategies and interventionsQualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Illinois Experience working in a school setting, preferably with autistic and emotional support classrooms Strong knowledge of behavior assessment tools and intervention techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skillsWork Schedule and Location:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-site presence required at two elementary schools: Evergreen Elementary and South Elementary This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on students' educational experiences by providing specialized psychological and behavioral services.
