Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth and success as a full-time school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person, contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate across a diverse district, helping to ensure all students receive the resources and interventions they need. With work spanning multiple campuses, you'll serve as a vital leader and advocate in students' educational journeys.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in educational psychology (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Completion of at least one year of supervised internship under a credentialed school psychologist Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Psychology endorsement Strong interpersonal and assessment skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams Experience providing psychological services within K-12 settings preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Support the development of individualized education and intervention plans Provide direct counseling and support services to students, individually and in groups Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success Deliver crisis intervention and social-emotional support as needed Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school climate across district schools
