Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' educational success through a contract opportunity as a school psychologist. This vital role empowers children and young adults while collaborating with educators, administrators, and families in a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist Experience or strong interest in working within schools at the elementary, middle, or high school level Familiarity with special education services, IEP/504 processes, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation expertise Commitment to ethically supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and functional behavior assessments Interpret assessment findings and present recommendations for educational planning Participate in eligibility determination, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary teams Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation as needed Develop and implement individualized interventions targeting academic, social, or behavioral needs Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes Advocate for inclusive, evidence-based practices to foster student growth and learning This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to support positive change, develop professional relationships, and contribute expertise in a flexible, school-based atmosphere.
