Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A School Psychologist position is available at a school located in Wheeling, IL. This role involves providing psychological services to support student learning and well-being within the school environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and support to students facing academic or behavioral challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs. Assist in crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiatives.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred. Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational psychology practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students.
