Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist role is open from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, located in Winnetka, IL. This contract position is Monday through Friday, with a workweek ranging between 37 to 40 hours. It offers the opportunity to serve a diverse caseload including elementary, middle, and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct re-evaluation reviews and eligibility meetings to support student academic and emotional needs. Perform functional behavioral assessments to develop tailored intervention plans. Administer initial evaluations to identify student strengths and areas requiring support. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid School Psychologist license in the state of Illinois. Experience working across multiple school levels (elementary, middle, and high school) preferred. Strong knowledge of functional behavioral assessments, re-evaluations, and eligibility processes. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining compliance with district guidelines. This role requires a professional who values thorough assessments and collaborative intervention planning. The caseload distribution allows for a focus on evaluations critical to student success, with details to be further discussed during the interview process. The position is set within a district committed to union guidelines; therefore, candidates must be available for direct placement without agency intervention.
