Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Support student success and make a meaningful impact near Bloomington, IN as a dedicated school psychologist. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate within educational environments, helping students reach their full potential through comprehensive psychological services.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience in K-12 settings highly preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Proficiency with IEP processes and educational interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop student support strategies Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations Provide counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges Support development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans Maintain accurate records and adhere to all professional and ethical standards Engage in crisis intervention and provide guidance on mental health initiatives within the school community
