The role supports student learning, behavior, and emotional needs through assessment, counseling, and intervention. The assignment offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to design and execute intervention strategies that support student success. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students facing academic and personal challenges. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. Indiana School Psychologist Certification, National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting. Ability to pass a background check. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
