Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful, contract-based opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year! With two immediate openings, you'll work with either Benton Community (K-12 on EST) or North Newton/Kankakee Valley (K-12/Preschool on CST). These positions begin in early August and offer the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, making a direct impact on student well-being. What makes these opportunities unique is the flexibility in caseload and school sites—placement is determined by district needs, allowing you to showcase your strengths and adapt your expertise. You'll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing vital assessment, intervention, and consultation services.
Qualifications:
Indiana School Psychologist certification or eligibility required Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Experience with K-12 and/or preschool population preferred Familiarity with special education evaluations, IEP processes, and
RTI/MTSS
frameworks Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with staff, students, and families Ability to manage caseloads and multi-site responsibilities as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct educational and psychological evaluations Collaborate with educators and families to develop and monitor IEPs Provide direct and consultative services to students to address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Participate actively in problem-solving teams to drive student success Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention strategies
